Langney Sports reached the final of the Sussex Senior Cup for the first time in the 1991/92 season, having finished second in the County League. They were to finish runners-up on this occasion as well to their professional rivals, going down by a single goal. As Eastbourne Borough, the Club went on the finally win the Senior Cup in 2001/02, beating Lewes 2-1 after extra time.
