Notes
With regards season 1995/96, although the record above states a bye in the 1st Round, I have vague recollections of Sports beating Burgess Hill at Priory Lane, 5-2 in extra time, after the game had finished at 2-2 after 90 minutes. If memory serves, Lee Isaac was in the Hillians’ side. If anyone can either confirm or deny this, I will be grateful.

In 2001/02 Eastbourne Borough of course won the Sussex Senior Cup Final (staged at Priory Lane), beating holders Lewes 2-1 aet. In 2002/03 the club once again reached the Final (again at Priory Lane), but lost 5-6 on penalties to Crawley Town, after the game had ended 0-0 in normal time.
