Langney Sports did not enter the competition from 1998 onwards. By season 2001/02 the competition rounds had become one-legged, and Eastbourne Borough entered. The club fielded a Reserve side which beat East Preston (h) & notably, St. Leonards (a) in the 1st two rounds, before going out at Horsham YMCA in the 3rd Round. The competition has since been discontinued.
