Having drawn 1-1 with their Isthmian League opponents in the first game, courtesy of a Matt Allen equaliser, the two sides returned to Priory Lane for the replay the following Tuesday evening. After the game had finished 0-0 after 90 minutes, and extra time, Sports won the tie on penalties. 4-3. Wayne Farrier missed the first one for Sports, but keeper Sean McFadden then saved two spot kicks, before skipper Craig Willard sealed the tie for Langney.The first ever penalty shoot-out at Priory Lane.
