Not a classic match by any means, with Sports losing 2-6 to Hellenic Division 1 outfit Milton United. What makes this particular game significant however, is that it turned out to be the last ever game played by Mick Green, who was tragically killed in a building site accident the following week. As a mark of respect, Sports did not play for several weeks afterwards and Green's no. 8 shirt was not worn for the remainder of the season.
