Sorry I don't have an exact date for this one, which I have included purely as an antidote to the tendency to look at the past through rose-tinted spectacles. Sports travelled to Salters Lane, Faversham for this FA Vase tie. Over the years the Vase proved to be a very unlucky competition for Langney, but whether their Kent League rivals had luck on their side to win 8-0 on this occasion remains to be seen!
