The club's only appearance in the Senior Cup Final as Langney Sports. Pete Cherry's side got to the Final following a cup run that saw off Southern League Premier Division Crawley Town in the Quarter Finals; and the previous season's County League champions Littlehampton Town in the Semis (a Nigel Hole hat-trick in a 3-1 win). Despite great travelling support however, Sports were unable to beat the professionals of the Albion, on their home territory - an Albion squad incidentally, that included a certain Stuart Tuck and Stuart Myall.
