Having thrashed Eastbourne Town 4-0 at The Saffrons in the previous round, Langney travelled west for a much tougher tie, at Southern League Premier Division Havant & Waterlooville. Sports were two goals down at half-time, but staged a remarkable come-back to earn a replay with goals from Simon Colbran and Neil Phillips, whilst keeper Ollie Oxley saved a late Havant penalty. Sports went on to win the replay 2-1.
