It’s always going to be one of great dilemmas isn’t it ... how would the players of the ‘great’ Langney sides in the past have fared in the Southern League if they had been given the chance? Of course, for one or two - Matt Jones & Danny Ashworth for example - we know the answer; and of course Darren Baker, and Paul Stevens are currently lining up at the likes of King’s Lynn and Stafford Rangers. Well, I’m not going to get involved in any animated debates, or even arguments - I’ve got my favourites and you will have yours.
Below is merely a start, but I’m sure you will agree with the selections. I will be adding brief biographies in due course. It’s very early 90s oriented at present as you will see, but I will of course be adding more pics - particularly from the championship-winning side of 1999/00, which is scandalously not represented at present. Don’t worry ... I’m working on it!
